MLB-Breach? Mobile Legends: Bang Bang's Facebook Pages, hacked

The official Facebook page for the popular mobile game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) has been compromised by a third party partner.
According to a now-deleted post on the game’s Facebook page, the hackers known as WebSpid3rs claimed to possess all the game’s data and user information. Details on the specific nature of the demands remain unclear.
The hacked post mentions an employee name named Sebachang, who the hacking group believed could save them in an undisclosed matter but failed. Additionally, the hackers threaten to leak the game’s source code.
While the hackers suggest the MLBB team is working to avert a data leak, they also imply the team might consider complying with the hackers’ terms to prevent further escalation.
Laurence Basoy, MLBB’s Regional Manager and Philippines Community Manager, confirmed that only MLBB’s Facebook Pages were compromised. However, he highligthed that no player data had been leaked. The unauthorized access appears to be liked to one of their external partners who had access to the page.
With the situation still developing, it’s crucial for MLBB players to exercise caution.
We will continue monitoring developments and provide updates as they become available.
