Vanced App is Shutting Down

After receiving a legal notice from YouTube’s parent company, Google, the popular Vanced app will cease operations and be discontinued. All traces of the Vanced download links will be removed from their website and the main Vanced App.\

In the absence of future feature and security updates, the Vanced App will continue to function on devices where it is installed. The Vanced team, on the other hand, stated that currently installed versions will continue to function until the app becomes obsolete in the coming years.

Vanced App has been the longest running free ad-free YouTube app on Android. The app also provided additional customizations not available in the official app. They also provide a free ad-free version of the YouTube Music app that does not require any subscriptions.
