  • Smart eSIM
  • TNT SIM
  • TNT eSIM
  • Smart Bro Home WiFi Fam SIM

These are available through Smart Stores, official online channels, and authorized retailers only.

How the Scam Works

Scammers create professional-looking landing pages and video ads, sometimes using AI-generated deepfakes to make it seem like public figures are endorsing the product. Victims are led to believe they are buying an exclusive Smart product with long-term unlimited data access — but instead receive a regular prepaid SIM with no such benefits.

Red Flags to Watch Out For

  • The term “VIP SIM” in product names or packaging.
  • Claims of unlimited data for 6 months to a year with a one-time fee.
  • Payment requests via personal e-wallet accounts (GCash, Maya, etc.).
  • Unverified online shops or social media pages selling telecom products.

What to Do If You Encounter This Scam

  1. Do not purchase from unverified sellers.
  2. Report the ad or page to Facebook or other platforms.
  3. Contact Smart’s official customer service to verify offers.
  4. File a complaint with the DTI or NTC if you were scammed.

📌 Stay informed and cautious. Scammers are becoming more sophisticated in using social media ads and AI tools to deceive the public. Always verify promos directly from official telecom channels before making a purchase.
